A Technology First lunch-and-learn, in November 2025, on what Snowflake Cortex AI can do — run entirely in SQL, no Python and no external APIs, so the room could try it where they already work.

It climbs three worksheets: the Cortex LLM functions (sentiment, translation, summarization), then COMPLETE for classification and extraction, then Cortex Search for semantic search and RAG. The data is realistic on purpose — support tickets, product reviews, docs, and sales-call transcripts across several languages — so the functions do real work rather than a hello-world.
